Honduras Pitch Pine

We have been procuring our high-value pitch pine sawn timber from one of Honduras’ most capable producers of highest quality for more than 50 years. Our sawn timber is graded according to special rules for export to Europe, rules that in the meantime have become established as the standard on many markets.

Pitch pine is an especially dense softwood (pine) with a highly decorative appearance and outstanding technical properties. The knot-free grade is especially popular for use as solid floorboards in many modernised residences in the North German area.

Owing to its high durability and good properties, pitch pine continues to be selected specifically for use in high-quality stage construction despite the availability of modern materials and substitutes. In general, beautiful knot-free pitch pine is frequently used in interiors for elements such as stairs and furniture or as profile board for wall and ceiling panelling.

We offer all common dimensions, but can also custom-cut wood in accordance with customer requests.
