A report by Finnjo Gräbke, apprentice in the third year of training.

I had the opportunity to support the epicPLY team at the CMT trade fair in Stuttgart. As one of the
largest tourism and caravan exhibitions in Europe, the event was also my first experience
working at a trade fair. Across the five days I spent at the event, I gained a wide range of valuable
impressions.

At the beginning, I received a short briefing from the team, covering the key aspects of a
successful trade fair presence. This included how to approach and engage with visitors, as well
as the company’s objectives for participating in the exhibition. Thanks to this introduction, I
quickly found my way into the workflow and actively contributed to the daily operations at the
stand.

Throughout the fair, I had extensive direct contact with customers. I participated in numerous
professional conversations with visitors, which helped me develop a strong understanding of
their needs, questions, and expectations, and how I could assist them effectively.
What stood out most to me was the diversity of visitors. People from various countries and
professional backgrounds came to the stand, allowing me to further improve my communication
skills in both German and English while gaining insights into different perspectives.
Overall, the CMT Stuttgart was a highly valuable experience. I gained new insights, engaged in
highly interesting discussions, and developed a solid understanding of working at a large
international trade fair.

I also greatly appreciated the collaboration with the epicPLY team on site, so thanks to everyone.
I had a great time.
