CMT 2026 in Stuttgart

A report by Finnjo Gräbke, apprentice in the third year of training.

I had the opportunity to support the epicPLY team at the CMT trade fair in Stuttgart. As one of the
largest tourism and caravan exhibitions in Europe, the event was also my first experience
working at a trade fair. Across the five days I spent at the event, I gained a wide range of valuable
impressions.

At the beginning, I received a short briefing from the team, covering the key aspects of a
successful trade fair presence. This included how to approach and engage with visitors, as well
as the company’s objectives for participating in the exhibition. Thanks to this introduction, I
quickly found my way into the workflow and actively contributed to the daily operations at the
stand.

After 34 years with the company and more than 15 years as managing partner of Jacob Jürgensen Wood GmbH, Rolf von Loßberg (right on picture) will be leaving our company at the end of 2025. He will hand over operational management to Martin Hopp (left on picture). He will be supported by Stefan Prodöhl, one of the long-standing managing directors of sister company Jacob Jürgensen Papier und Zellstoff and partner in JJ Holding.

Martin Hopp joined the company in August 2024 and has taken over an experienced and well-coordinated team with a strong market position in Europe at the wood importer, which is known far beyond Germany’s borders. We are delighted to have found a successor in Martin Hopp, who, with his focus on sales and marketing, will successfully continue the history of thistraditional import company.
