When we left office May 11th, 2017 the weather was gorgeous with us we had our start numbers, running shoes and brand new company t-Shirts. Excitedly we made our way to the Volksparkstadion. The rout of the run took us through the Altonaer Volkspark, along the Trabrennbahn and ended in the Volksparkstadion. The distance was 5,9 km, our whole team completed the course giving us all cause for celebration.

Light weight solutions with albasia

Whether industrial matters or constructional use – weight of wood plays a major role. However, the general availability of poplar plywood as lightweight solution shortens further. Now there is an innovative substitute product which weighs even less than poplar and is 100% sustainable.

The medium density of albasia is at approx. 320 kg per m³, that is about 15% lighter than poplar. On top of that, albasia is growing on sustainable plantations, is both FLEGT-licensed and FSC®-certified.
